Ava Drop Ceiling Mount. Use the Drop ceiling mount for easy installation of the Ava Compact Dome to drop ceilings, commonly found in offices, shops and public buildings. The Drop ceiling mount consists of a 1/4 -20 threaded metal rod and a large hand-tightened plastic nut that spreads the load evenly on the ceiling tile. The threaded rod mounts directly to the thread in the Compact Dome s bottom plate.
